The Firesign Theatre comes to Web radio via Radio Free Oz.

“Faster Than The Speed Of Light” is the first of their new Web radio series, TALKING OVER EACH OTHER

There’s no time for a learning curve when Phil Proctor has a sound effects box, Phil Austin leans back and yells Al Sharpton at will and Dave is ever ready to throw surrealist gas on the flames.

Me, I had a totally wonderful time; but can not be held responsible for the non-linear, deconstructive, full-on loony and disturbingly unpredictable nature of the humor.

It’s non stop. Take a breath and put it in your ears.

Thanks guys! This was an unexpected pleasure. I was primed for this after buying the Duke of Madness collection earlier this year. I laughed my ass off… Don’t know if Austeen and Procmer will ever do the RFO show together again, but I was very happy to have it happen at least once. The Wizard and The Oss are fine but there’s just something about that 5th crazy guy that emerges out of 4. Too bad David was floating off to the side though.

Yeah, spin him around like a bottle (@)
    ( let’s see that in sound )
    “Anything to do for a laugh…” (?)

    Tell us a story.
    A radio play.

Ah, Peter Pan wasn’t p(C)ain relief.
    He was peanut butter.

Jump from the tower of the 1%
Into the sour abyss cauldron of
    Undissolved Tang

Will there ever be a, “next time…” ?
